I’m going to come,clean guys, I’m really liking this game so far and I am super excited about where its headed, but there are some features that are a little less than desirable and I am going to do my best to really delineate the positives and the negatives on this one so any indecisive readers can make their choice on buying this bad boy.įair warning my dudes and dudettes, I may drop some SPOILERS regarding the campaign story line and its implications for the expanded Star Wars universe (the game may or may not be canon, I do not know man, I just work here). Nothing gets my Star Wars hype kicked into overdrive like being immersed in the world we all love so very much. And guess what y’all? I attribute that hype to this game. Basically, shoot 12 enemies in one life with the Blaster Rifle, the message that you are awarded with the Elite Rifle appears, you switch to your Blaster Pistol, then back to the Blaster Rifle and notice how next to the BR icon it doesn't say 'Blaster Rifle' anymore, but AWARD Rifle.Ladies and gentlemen, Star Wars Battlefront II is upon us, and it is glorious to behold! Their strategic release of the game right before the big movie release worked on me again, because I am unimaginably hyped. What basically is happening is I believe that you think when you get the award when it appears in the left hand corner, you actually don't get it until you switch your primary weapon to your secondary, then back to your primary. Oh, i dont mean "beam" as in a soild line, i just meant the round that had been fired, cause its a laser and i wasnt sure what to call it :PWhile the upgrade weapons do, do more damage the actual damage buff is called War Hero which is gotten after getting 36 points.īlaster Bolt is the term you're looking for.Īlso I believe I think I know what is going on now, I was confused at the 'beam' part, but now that has been cleared up I do think I know what's going on.
